It all began in 1996 when Douglas Ross turned his passion for brewing into reality by founding the Allanwater Brewhouse. Since then, the brewery has flourished, delighting seasoned ale enthusiasts and newcomers with its wide range of handcrafted beers.

Douglas and his team masterfully balance tradition and innovation, offering classic brews like 70/- Gold Pot and Pot Black Stout alongside adventurous creations such as Thai Pot and Chilli Pot. With every batch, they stay true to their ethos of using only the finest, natural, and ethically sourced ingredients.

But it’s not just about the beer—the Allanwater Brewhouse is a warm, welcoming place where locals and visitors can relax.
